1534ne taps are similar in design to the standard 1534nr series, but with a longer shank length, and available in unc and unf thread forms with a plug chamfer. They are manufactured from high speed steel which will give you extended tool life and great performance and have a spiral point with a long shank for threading through holes where increased reach is required. Conforming to the american national standards institute, the tools are very versatile and can be used for tapping many materials including steel and stainless steel, and have a bright finish to stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges for accurate threads.
