Sd-dc ball shaped (shape d) rotary carbide burrs with skip flute geometry are designed for de-burring when used in slots or radius grooves. Manufactured from premium carbide for extra performance and extended tool life at high speeds, they also have a steel shank which has been hardened and toughened for improved rigidity and strength, to decrease vibration and further extend the life of the tool. The tools all have a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges for a smoother, cleaner result. To help break chips more efficiently and make it easier to control when using by hand, sd-dc rotary burrs have a dc geometry.
