The ball nosed cylinder shape (shape c) is best suited to de-burring in corners with radius, whilst the al geometry makes the tools ideal for maximum material removal when machining aluminum. Sc-fm rotary burrs come with a toughened and hardened steel shank for extra rigidity and strength, reducing vibration when de-burring and leading to longer tool life.
