The dc geometry breaks chips more effectively so you get better control when de-burring by hand, whilst the bright finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the tool so you get a cleaner result. P817 rotary burrs come with a hardened and toughened steel shank, for extra rigidity and strength to reduce vibration and further extend tool life.
