Union butterfield’s 4500 reamer has a straight shank with a square drive, designed primarily for reaming by hand with a suitable wrench. The precision ground geometry of the straight flute and right hand cutting provides smooth reaming and also improves surface finish and hole size accuracy, whilst the tapered lead means the reamer is easy to locate and centre, improving accuracy and performance. 4500 reamers are made from high speed steel, suitable for reaming in a wide variety of materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and have a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you get great results every time.
